The SmackDown 1000 will surely be a big show. While very little is known about the show to be held on October 16, now, we all know that Ric Flair, Triple H, Randy Orton and Dave Bautista, are all set to reunite as the Evolution after a long time since the year, 2007.
Evolution had battled The Shield in the year, 2014, and this will be the very first time that the fans will see Dave Bautista on the WWE programming. Last week it seemed like The Animal would miss this show in spite of being in Washington D.C. However Dave Bautista will be present, and he may even set up his very own return to singles competition.
This is the press release for WWE on the return of the Evolution:
“The band is back together.
At SmackDown 1000 on Tuesday, Oct. 16, Evolution reunites – Triple H, Batista, Randy Orton and Ric Flair will be in Washington, D.C. for the historic event.
Evolution is comprised of some of the most successful Superstars in history – there are 49 world championship reigns between the four members, who ran roughshod through WWE from 2002 to 2005, then rode again for a vicious rivalry with The Shield in 2014.
What does Evolution have in store as they make their first-ever appearance on the blue brand during this groundbreaking night? Find out during SmackDown’s 1000th episode, Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 8/7 C on USA Network!”
