The star of the show, Big Bang Theory, Kaley Cuoco has now been cast as the famous DC anti-hero, Harley Quinn in the new animated series. All the fans had heard Cuoco’s Harley in a first look at the series that had revealed during the Titans pilot, New York City Comic Con.
Cuoco will lead a voice cast which is all set to include Lake Bell, Alan Tudyk, Ron Funches, JB Smoove, Jason Alexander, Wanda Sykes, Giancarlo Esposito, Natalie Morales, Jim Rash, Diedrich Bader, Tony Hale, Chris Meloni.
Many actors have worked with DC, including Tudyk and Funches’s Powerless roles, Esposito in Batman: Assault on Arkham and Meloni in Man of Steel. Esposito has also expressed his interest in doing a lot more work in the comic book world, and he had said that he would have liked to make an appearance in Suicide Squad if he was given a chance to reprise the role he had played in Assault on Arkham.
Harley Quinn does not have an official release date as of now, and the only idea of when this show would be debuting is the “coming soon” at the end of the teaser. Harley Quinn will follow the character’s adventures after she has broken up with the Joker and she then strikes out on her own. With the help of Poison Ivy, she will try and earn herself a seat in Legion of the Doom.
