They have now settled on a release date for this sequel, and it seems to be coming much sooner than we think, as the studio has now planned for a release date of May 2021. This news had been confirmed by the studio through a text message that had been sent to all those who had signed up for updates about John Wick 3: Parabellum. This text message has confirmed that a fourth movie would be happening and revealed a May 21, 2021, as the release date.
Keanu Reevess has also said that he is willing to return to this role. The director, Chad Stahelski, had also expressed his wish to continue with this franchise.
John Wick: Chapter 3 has now earned the series-best debut with $57 million and had also dethroned Avengers: Endgame.
The latest movie has performed extremely well, and it boasts an 88 per cent rating from critics, and 92 per cent audience rating.
As of now, there is no information on who would return with Keanu Reeves, but Lance Reddick (Charon), Laurence Fishburne (the Bowery King) and Ian McShane (Winston) are likely candidates. Many newcomers like Asia Kate Dillon (the Adjudicator) and Halle Berry (Sofia) seem like safe bets to return in Chapter 4.
